- Developing and delivering detailed cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Reviewing and understanding project specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Managing and delivering accurate and timely quotations and proposals to our clients.
- Performing detailed take-offs and preparing contracts and proposals.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects during the estimation process.
- Analyzing and understanding market trends to help determine cost influence factors.
- Maintaining a comprehensive database of appropriate unit costs and industry standard estimating productivity factors.
- Reviewing final estimates and finalizing pricing with the project management team.
- Providing improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator, specifically in some aspect of waterproofing.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam Revu and other industry-related software for estimating.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial and residential construction, as well as waterproofing products.
- Proven experience in performing take-offs, preparing contracts and proposals, and project estimation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and estimates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
