We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and dynamic Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a firm that values and rewards dedication, hard work, and innovative thinking. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of cases and legal matters, providing the highest level of service to our clients. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of casualty, defense, client litigation, legal writing, and coverage.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  2. Draft, review, and manage a wide range of legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and correspondence.
  3. Represent clients in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
  4. Negotiate settlements in legal disputes while ensuring the best possible outcome for our clients.
  5. Provide legal advice to clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong focus on casualty, defense, client litigation, legal writing, and coverage.
  4. Proven track record of representing clients in court and negotiation settings.
  5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  7. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
