Job Details

We are seeking an Attorney with a strong background in the Legal industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a keen understanding of Workers' Compensation, Claims, Claim Management, and Injury. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal advice and representation to clients in workers' compensation claims and related matters.
  2. Conduct thorough and critical analysis of claims to determine the validity and potential legal implications.
  3. Manage all aspects of claim management, from initial assessment through resolution, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
  5. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
  6. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes concerning workers' compensation.
  7. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  8. Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case to provide updates and gather information.
  9. Supervise legal assistants and paralegals, ensuring quality of work and adherence to company standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Attorney, or in a similar role in the legal industry.
  3. Proven experience in claims and claim management.
  4. Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations related to workers' compensation and injury.
  5. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in various legal proceedings.
  6. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues and provide practical legal advice.
  7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Must be licensed to practice law in the state, or eligible to obtain a license upon hire.
  9. High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to client confidentiality and protecting client interests.
  10. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
