Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Senior to join our team in the Finance industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients. This includes researching, preparing, and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and high net worth individuals (HNWI). The role requires a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations, the ability to manage multiple projects, and exceptional client service skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, C corps, S corps, and HNWIs.
  2. Conduct thorough tax research and planning to optimize tax outcomes for clients.
  3. Collaboratively work with the tax team to ensure the accurate preparation and completion of tax returns.
  4. Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional client service.
  5. Manage and coordinate tax audits.
  6. Provide tax advisory services to clients, including planning, research, and compliance.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
  8. Stay updated with the latest federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  9. Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of tax experience in public accounting or related field.
  4. Extensive experience with partnerships, C corp, S corp, and HNWI.
  5. Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Excellent research skills with a thorough understanding of federal and state tax laws.
  7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  11. Exceptional client service skills with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  12. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  13. Willingness to continuously learn and grow in a dynamic industry.
