Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Electrical BIM Coordinator to join our growing team. This exciting role is at the intersection of digital engineering and construction industry, offering a unique opportunity to leave your mark on high-profile construction projects. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop and implement Building Information Modelling (BIM) for electrical systems. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement BIM for electrical systems throughout the design and construction process.
2. Collaborate with project teams to understand and execute the project-specific BIM plans.
3. Manage and coordinate BIM technology and data to ensure project execution.
4. Provide technical support for BIM software.
5. Participate in project BIM meetings, providing updates and progress reports.
6. Ensure the BIM model aligns with the project goals and specifications.
7. Develop clash detection reports and coordinate resolution.
8. Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use and training.
9. Stay updated with current industry trends and BIM technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, specifically in the electrical field.
3. Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Solibri.
4. Strong understanding of electrical systems in construction projects.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and building systems.
6. Proficient in clash detection, model coordination, and problem solving.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
10. Knowledge of industry standards and building codes.
11. Familiarity with digital engineering and its application in the construction industry.
