Job Details

As a Permanent Staff Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reports.
  2. Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  3. Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
  4. Participating in the budgeting process and performing financial analysis.
  5. Assisting in the preparation of schedules and reports for audit purposes.
  6. Evaluating and making improvements to accounting processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Supporting other team members as necessary and working with the team to meet deadlines.
  8. Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
  9. Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and financial reporting.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
  5. Excellent data analysis skills.
  6. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex information.
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  10. The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  11. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not required.
