Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for the overall performance, training and development of the accounting team.

Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by developing and ensuring compliance with all internal control processes.

Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash management, general accounting, and cost accounting.

Develop, improve and issue timely and accurate monthly financial statements to include managing the close process, account reconciliations and GL analysis.

Develop and ensure compliance with all internal control processes.

Develop and provide financial communications for management as needed or requested.

Lead and manage the audit with our outside audit firm.

Champion the use of Sage Intacct by the accounting team.

Develop and engage with accounting team and provide open and ongoing communication by way of staff meetings, one-on-one meetings and other methods.

Implement new processes to streamline and improve business flows.

Research and implement new technical accounting pronouncements.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university required.

Ten or more years of related experience, including 3+ years as a controller.

CPA, preferred.

Strong technical accounting knowledge.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Must Have

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong technology skills, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to analyze issues and recommend solutions.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
