Job Details

We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be licensed in practice in PA.

The ideal candidate will have experience with personal injury cases on the plaintiff side AND/OR defending governmental institutions on the defense side.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to the organization on all matters of law, including municipal law, business law, and personal law.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents
  • Represent the organization in litigation, arbitration, and other legal proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support the organization's strategic objectives and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to mitigate legal risks and ensure the organization's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify potential legal issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Provide training and education to the organization's staff on legal matters.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Must have experience with personal injury cases on the plaintiff side AND/OR defending governmental institutions on the defense side.
  • Strong knowledge of municipal law and the legal issues affecting the industry.
  • Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
