Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing firm.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of general litigation and courtroom experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making persuasive arguments in support of your client's case.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Conducting legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients, where appropriate.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure the effective and efficient handling of cases.
  • Maintaining open and regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and providing legal advice as needed.
  • Participating in professional development activities to stay current with legal trends and best practices in civil litigation.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of 2years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven track record of success in court.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases simultaneously, and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using legal research software and other law-related technology.
