Job Details

The Electromechanical role involves performing significant electrical repairs and installations. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot electrical issues, identify causes, and implement solutions. Maintenance personnel will maintain and repair machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform major electrical repairs and installations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
  • Maintain and repair machinery and production equipment for continuous operation
  • Perform emergency repairs when needed
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedules to maintain the facility
  • Design and fabricate custom items based on work orders or requests
  • Carry out plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical projects as required
  • Perform tasks like painting, groundskeeping, and housekeeping to maintain facility appearance
  • Prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
  • Participate in equipment installation and custom part fabrication
  • Order and manage materials and supplies, including vendor communication
  • Assist with employee training on proper equipment maintenance
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • This is a safety-sensitive role, requiring constant alertness and a commitment to safe practices
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts based on business needs
  • Capability to work in a production environment with moving equipment and personnel
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
  • Proficiency in using tools such as drills, saws, mills, grinders, and welders

Education:

  • Technical degree in Electro-Mechanical or equivalent
  • High school diploma
