Due to growth, our maintenance department is looking for 8 mechanical and electromechanical maintenance technicians across multiple shifts.

Job Details

Weekend Shift: Fri, Sat, and Sun from EITHER 4pm-4am, OR 4am-4pm

  • $6.50/hr differential

2nd Shift: M-F, 1pm-10pm

  • $3.25/hr differential

3rd Shift: Sun-Th, 10pm-6am

  • $3.25/hr differential
  • Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
  • Must have knowledge of electrical power, steam, water, and gas distribution systems.
  • Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
  • Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
  • May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
  • Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
  • Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.

Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.

  • Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
  • Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
  • Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
  • Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

Qualifications

  • Two-year Associate degree OR 5 years work experience required.
  • Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
