Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Facility Manager for our fast-paced manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be a key part of the management team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant, maintaining our commitment to environmental sustainability, and overseeing the overall performance of the facility. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, with a strong emphasis on facility management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed, and productivity targets are met.
  2. Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  3. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations and environmental sustainability.
  4. Monitor the performance of the facility, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
  5. Coordinate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and human resources, to ensure alignment of facility operations with overall company objectives.
  6. Manage facility maintenance and repair, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and any issues are promptly addressed.
  7. Lead and manage a team of facility staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  8. Develop and manage the facility's budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  9. Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the facility, ensuring all staff understand and adhere to safety protocols and environmental policies.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facility management within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and regulations.
  4. Proven ability to oversee large-scale operations and manage a diverse team.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  6. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of motivating and managing a team.
  7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and expectations to staff and stakeholders.
  8. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  9. Proficiency with facility management software and other relevant technology.
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
