As a Permanent Loads & Dynamics Engineer, you will be a part of a highly-skilled and dynamic team that pushes the boundaries of engineering and technology every day. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and analysis of structural dynamics and loads for launch vehicles.
  • Conduct dynamic simulations and analyses to predict the response of structures to various loads.
  • Develop and implement advanced methodologies for loads and dynamics prediction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate loads and dynamics inputs into vehicle design and development.
  • Provide expert guidance on launch vehicle dynamics and loads to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and interpret test data, and validate loads and dynamics models against test results.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to communicate technical information to various audiences.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in the area of launch vehicle dynamics and loads.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with dynamic simulation tools and software.
  • Proficiency in loads and dynamics prediction methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of structural dynamics, vibration, and loads.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and advancements.
