Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Details:

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Permanent General Foreman to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the success of our construction projects and to contribute to our company's growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction industry, with a particular focus on ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting cable), FTTx (Fiber to the x), and OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) projects. Experience in utilities construction is also a valuable asset. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:

As a General Foreman, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
4. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
5. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Planning, implementing, and overseeing construction efforts at work sites.
7. Interacting with clients, architects, and engineers.
8. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
9. Coordinating with utility service providers.
10. Making sure the project is completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Foreman or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in ADSS, FTTx, OPGW, and utilities construction.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
4. Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
5. Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
7. Ability to communicate and report effectively.
8. Aptitude in math and problem-solving.
9. High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)
10. Class A Lineman certification
