Salary: $37 - $43 per hour

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in Ductile Iron and C900 pipe projects.
2. Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to workers, and represent the company in matters such as union contracts negotiation.
3. Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.
4. Read blueprints and construction documents to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
5. Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
6. Supervise and lead pipe crews in the underground installation of Ductile Iron and C900 pipe in industrial construction settings.
7. Collaborate with project managers and engineers during the planning phase to ensure all aspects of the project are addressed.
8. Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all crew members adhere to them to maintain a safe working environment.
9. Address and resolve any issues or disruptions that may arise during the construction process.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipe Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in working with Ductile Iron and C900 pipe.
3. Proven experience in water / wastewater treatment projects is highly preferred.
4. Proficient in underground installation procedures and safety protocols.
5. Exceptional ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Must be an active union member or willing to join Carpenter or Laborers union
10. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
11. OSHA 10 Certification required.
