Are you a seasoned Maintenance Mechanic with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for innovation? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a full-time, permanent position on the 1st shift, offering an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, exciting environment. As a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our production lines, ensuring the smooth running of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various mechanical and electrical equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment, utilizing your understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Lead maintenance projects and teams, coordinating activities and communicating effectively with all involved parties.
- Utilize PLC systems for machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Conduct calibration of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Work closely with the production team to understand and meet the unique needs of the food manufacturing industry.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical systems, PLC, electrical PM, machine maintenance tech, schematics, calibration, mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and pneumatics.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing maintenance teams and projects.
- Solid understanding of process improvement techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- High level of physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks.
- A commitment to adhering to all safety and health regulations.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in a related field would be an added advantage.
