POSITION SUMMARY

• Report to the Shop Manager.
• Responsible for safely performing job aspects related to the setup and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual compliance inspections as required.
• Report compliance failures to the supervisor.
• Implement electrical wiring plans for warehouses, offices, equipment, and other electrical systems.
• Install electrical components including apparatus, fixtures, safety devices, and distribution components (e.g., switches, circuit-breaker panels).
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring.
• Prevent system breakdowns through routine inspections, replacement of old wiring and cables, and circuit cleaning.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace damaged units to address hazards or malfunctions.
• Adhere to Company/Terminal Policies and Procedures when accessing or working in the Terminal.
• Track inventory used and needed for tasks, and request components as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Electrician
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
