Job Details:

Are you passionate about cleanliness and safety? Do you have a knack for understanding and implementing sanitation protocols? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Technician to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This position operates on a 2-2-3 schedule from 4p-4a, ensuring our facilities are always in top-notch condition.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Sanitation Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our manufacturing facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring all areas of the manufacturing plant are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
2. Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as foamers and chemicals.
3. Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).
4. Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain safety while performing tasks.
5. Conducting regular inspections to identify potential sanitation issues and taking corrective actions as necessary.
6. Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure all sanitation standards are met.
7. Reporting any equipment or maintenance issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Sanitation Technician position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a sanitation role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including foamers and chemicals.
3. Knowledge and understanding of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and SSOP.
4. Demonstrated ability to use PPE correctly and safely.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to work a 2-2-3 schedule from 4p-4a.
8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
