Job Details:

Are you passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for supervisory roles? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Sanitation Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Food Manufacturing industry. This role requires someone who can ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in our facility.

Responsibilities:

As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing, implementing, and monitoring the sanitation program to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including HACCP, PCQI, and other health and safety regulations.
2. Training and supervising sanitation staff on proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and waste management.
3. Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
4. Managing the use and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
5. Coordinating with other departments to ensure sanitation standards are met across all areas of the facility.
6. Investigating and resolving any sanitation-related issues or concerns promptly.
7. Maintaining accurate records of all sanitation activities.
8. Ensuring all waste is disposed of according to company policies and environmental regulations.
9. Continuously seeking ways to improve the sanitation process and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a sanitation department in the food manufacturing industry.
2. HACCP Certification and PCQI Certified.
3. Extensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and waste management.
4. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
5. Exceptional supervisory skills with a proven ability to train and motivate staff.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in using computer software including Microsoft Office Suite.
