Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor (Day, Swing, & Graveyard Shifts) to join our team. This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food manufacturing facility, ensuring that all production targets are met and quality standards are upheld. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts including day, swing and graveyard, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a pivotal role in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

As a Production Supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of production staff to ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
2. Ensuring that all production targets are met in a timely manner.
3. Implementing and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) throughout all production processes.
4. Coordinating the procurement and management of raw materials, ensuring that all necessary materials are available when needed.
5. Monitoring product standards and implementing quality control programs.
6. Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
7. Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
8. Reviewing worker performance and identifying training needs.
9. Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
10. Liaising with different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers, to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a production supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in implementing and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
3. Solid experience in coordinating the procurement and management of raw materials.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
9. The flexibility to work a variety of shifts including day, swing and graveyard.
10. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field would be advantageous but is not essential.
11. Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
