The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing our second shift operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our production lines while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

As a 2nd Shift Production Manager, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the second shift production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
2. Coordinating production scheduling to maximize efficiency and meet production targets.
3. Managing line changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining overall production efficiency.
4. Ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
5. Leading, training, and motivating production staff to achieve peak performance.
6. Identifying bottlenecks in the production process and implementing effective solutions.
7. Continuously monitoring all production processes and making necessary adjustments to improve productivity and quality.
8. Collaborating with other departments to ensure that production goals align with the overall company objectives.
9. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
10. Reporting on key production metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the 2nd Shift Production Manager position, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with production scheduling and managing line changeovers.
3. In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
4. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading and motivating teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to staff at all levels.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. A strong commitment to safety and quality.
9. The ability to work the second shift and additional hours as needed.
10. A degree in a related field such as Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration is preferred.
