Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Permanent Residential Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This critical role involves overseeing all stages of residential construction projects, from initial planning and foundation work to final inspections and handovers. The successful candidate will have a solid background in home building, concrete, construction management, foundations, and flatwork. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Residential Superintendent, your day-to-day duties will include:

1. Supervising all stages of residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Coordinating and managing all on-site operations, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
3. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
5. Communicating effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure all project objectives are met.
6. Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, and records.
7. Resolving any on-site conflicts or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
8. Training and mentoring junior staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Residential Superintendent, candidates must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on residential home building, concrete, construction management, foundations, and flatwork.
2. Proven experience as a construction superintendent or a similar leadership role.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
4. Strong understanding of construction blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
5. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines.
7. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
8. Valid license for the operation of construction machinery.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
