We are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Electric/Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, where you will be working from 9 pm to 5:30 am in our fast-paced manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairs, troubleshooting, electrical, PLC, mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair.

Responsibilities

As an Electric/Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for:

  1. Performing complex troubleshooting and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems within the manufacturing facility.
  2. Ensuring the smooth operation of all electrical and instrumentation equipment, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.
  3. Conducting regular preventive maintenance checks on all electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Repairing and maintaining PLC systems to ensure seamless operations.
  5. Collaborating closely with the production team to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions.
  6. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
  7. Adhering to all safety protocols and standards while performing tasks.
  8. Assisting in the planning and implementation of new projects and equipment installations.
  9. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

The successful candidate for the Electric/Instrumentation Technician position will possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  2. Proven experience with electrical and mechanical systems, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.
  3. Proficient in PLC operation and troubleshooting.
  4. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues.
  5. Solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  7. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  8. A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  10. A technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
