We are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Electric/Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, where you will be working from 9 pm to 5:30 am in our fast-paced manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairs, troubleshooting, electrical, PLC, mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair.
Responsibilities
As an Electric/Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Performing complex troubleshooting and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems within the manufacturing facility.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of all electrical and instrumentation equipment, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.
- Conducting regular preventive maintenance checks on all electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Repairing and maintaining PLC systems to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborating closely with the production team to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions.
- Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and standards while performing tasks.
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of new projects and equipment installations.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for the Electric/Instrumentation Technician position will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with electrical and mechanical systems, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Proficient in PLC operation and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
