Job Details:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced AR Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical to the success of our organization as you will be responsible for managing the entire receivables process, which includes invoicing, collections, account reconciliation, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a knack for problem-solving, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. You will be working closely with both our internal team and our customers, so excellent communication and customer service skills are vital.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent AR Specialist, your duties will include but not be limited to:

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including processing invoices, handling collections, and account reconciliation.
2. Ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processing of customer payments.
3. Maintaining accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions and preparing monthly reports.
4. Providing exceptional customer service by resolving customer queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
5. Collaborating with the sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
6. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Netsuite or related ERP to manage and analyze financial data.
7. Applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
8. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an AR Specialist role or similar within the finance industry.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Netsuite or a related ERP.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and account reconciliation.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
5. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
7. Demonstrated critical thinking abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
8. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
