We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly-skilled, and innovative individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Scientist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research and development initiatives, ensuring sanitation standards, and managing raw materials in the production process. This role is particularly suited for a professional with a strong background in Food Science, especially Pet Food. Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage research and development projects to improve product quality, efficiency, and safety.
2. Oversee the sanitation process, ensuring all products meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
3. Manage raw materials, ensuring optimal usage and minimal waste in the production process.
4. Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve production processes and product quality.
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations.
6. Conduct regular quality assessments of raw materials and finished products.
7. Keep abreast of the latest developments in Food Science, particularly in the area of Pet Food, and incorporate relevant findings into our production processes.
8. Train and mentor junior staff members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or a related field is required.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of Food Science, particularly Pet Food.
4. Proven experience in managing research and development projects.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage raw materials in a production process.
6. Strong understanding of sanitation processes and standards.
7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
10. Ability to stay updated with the latest developments in the field and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes.
