Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

We are a growing food production company that is headquartered in Canada and has multiple sites across the US. We are known for our tasty Japanese food offering and are continuing to expand our operations, doubling our revenue in the past year.

Due to our growth, we are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant for our Fullerton location. This is a hybrid remote position, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 remote. In this role, you will be responsible for inventory management & reporting, product costing, variance analysis & weekly reports, capex and fixed assets, and monthly book closing & internal control.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with three (3) to five (5) years experience in manufacturing cost accounting are required.

Proficiency in Excel

Experience in manipulating large databases is a must.

Experience with Power BI, SQL scripting, and/or Macro is highly preferred

CPA or working towards CPA is required.

Significant hands-on experience using an integrated ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, reporting and cost accounting

Understanding of IFRS as it applies to a manufacturing environment is required.

Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Extraordinary interpersonal skills to work in conjunction with other departments and must be a team player who also works well independently.

Must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and make recommendations
