Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

We are a growing food production company that is headquartered in Canada and has multiple sites across the US. We are known for our tasty Japanese food offering and are continuing to expand our operations, doubling our revenue in the past year.

Due to our growth, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor for our commissary Chicago plant which has roughly 25 employees. The shift schedule is Monday to Friday from 7AM to 3:30PM. This is a brand new position overseeing two quality technicians. You will be responsible for our HACCP program, ensuring they are consistent with company policies and procedures, as well as, regulatory compliance.

Completion of college diploma in Food Science, or a related field. Preferred 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance. Preferred people management skills. Preferred (internal) auditing skills.

Required to have GFSI experience (SQF is an asset), PCQI certification

Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate up and down the organization.

Previous leadership experience preferably in a Food Processing facility.

Disciplined, motivated and accountable for all Quality Assurance matters.

Strong systems skills (including MS Office).
