Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Trial Attorney with a strong background in construction law to join our firm.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive litigation experience, particularly in construction-related disputes, and demonstrate a proven track record of successful case outcomes.

  • Oversee all phases of litigation, from pre-trial preparation to post-trial resolution, ensuring effective case strategy and execution.
  • Represent clients in complex construction litigation cases, including trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and legal research to support case strategies, ensuring all relevant facts, laws, and precedents are considered.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring compliance with all legal standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication regarding case progress and legal options.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, with a focus on construction law preferred.
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Active member of the Florida Bar.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Trial Experience: Demonstrated experience in jury trials and familiarity with construction industry regulations and standards.
