Salary: $80,000 - $115,000 per year

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Chemist II with a focus on Coatings, Primers, and Laminating Adhesives. This exciting role is within our dynamic Sales industry and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our Energy Curable (EC) product portfolio. You will be a key player in our team, responsible for adding value to our EC product range, improving quality, efficiency, and profitability through the successful implementation of new technologies. Your role will also involve broadening the scope of EC innovation and developing new opportunities for Intellectual Property.

Looking for someone with Electronic Beam and Ultra Violet experience.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and improve EC coatings, primers, and laminating adhesives for Packaging and Graphics applications.
  2. Drive innovation in EC technology, seeking out new opportunities to expand our product portfolio and increase market share.
  3. Implement new technologies to improve the quality, efficiency, and profitability of our EC products.
  4. Contribute to the development of new Intellectual Property opportunities within the EC field.
  5. Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and translate these into product improvements or new product development.
  6. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  7. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field is required. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a lab setting, specifically working with EC Coatings, Primers, and Laminating Adhesives.
  3. Proven track record of successful new technology implementation within the EC field.
  4. Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change, with a focus on improving product quality, efficiency, and profitability.
  5. Strong understanding of the sales industry and the ability to work closely with sales teams to understand and meet customer needs.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
  7. Experience with developing new Intellectual Property opportunities is highly desirable.
  8. Must be detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
