Job Details:

We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Chemist to join our dynamic team in the Scientific industry. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about science and has a strong desire to contribute to the advancement of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and testing various chemical products, conducting research and analysis, and ensuring quality control. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you can make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct complex chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  2. Develop, validate, and implement new chemical testing methods and protocols.
  3. Work closely with the research and development team to create new products and improve existing ones.
  4. Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments.
  5. Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for conducting tests and advise on appropriate storage.
  6. Ensure all chemicals, equipment, and laboratories are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
  8. Document all activities, results, and reports on findings in a precise and detailed manner.
  9. Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
  10. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality of work.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree or higher is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Scientific industry.
  3. Proficiency in compounding, chemistry formulation, analytical chemistry, quality control, research & development, and chemical testing.
  4. Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
  5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  8. Proficiency in using various software and database systems for data analysis and reporting.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  11. Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
