We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Developmental Chemist to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and formulating new compounds, issuing formulations, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, make significant contributions to our product development, and work closely with other team members to drive innovation and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, formulate, and issue new compounds and formulations.
  • Conduct research and development activities related to PVC materials.
  • Analyze and interpret data to understand surface-interface properties and surface characterization.
  • Ensure all products and processes meet FDA regulations and other applicable standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product development plans.
  • Identify opportunities for product and process improvements and drive their implementation.
  • Utilize Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies to improve processes and product quality.
  • Regularly present research findings and product development updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Contribute to the overall goals of the company by performing any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Developmental Chemist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with PVC material and formulating new compounds is required.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of surface-interface properties and surface characterization.
  • Certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using standard software for data analysis and presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to work, with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
