Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 per year

We are currently on the hunt for an experienced, detail-oriented, and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Quality Control Manager. This critical role is a cornerstone of our operations within the construction industry, ensuring that every project we undertake meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, a deep understanding of building codes, and a proven track record in problem-solving, time management, and risk management.

As a Permanent Quality Control Manager, your key duties will include:

1. Overseeing all operational quality control aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and in compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
2. Identifying potential risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies to prevent or resolve issues that could impact project quality or delivery.
3. Conducting regular site inspections and audits to assess the quality of work, identify any issues or non-compliance, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure all aspects of each project are executed correctly and to the required standards.
5. Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems and procedures, and ensuring they are understood and followed by all team members.
6. Providing training and guidance to team members on quality control standards and procedures, and promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.
7. Managing and resolving any quality-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
8. Preparing and presenting regular quality control reports to senior management, highlighting any issues and recommending solutions.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role within the construction industry.
2. A deep understanding of building codes and regulations.
3. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze potential solutions, and implement effective corrective actions.
4. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
5. Proven risk management skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
