Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team. The Quality Control Manager will have a deep understanding of the construction industry and will be responsible for managing all aspects of quality control throughout the life cycle of our projects. This includes planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage the quality control department, ensuring all team members are trained, motivated, and performing to a high standard.
2. Implement and manage the three phases of control system, including preparatory phase, initial phase, and follow-up phase.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
4. Coordinate with project managers and site work teams to ensure all construction activities align with the project plan and quality requirements.
5. Oversee the development and implementation of O&Ms (Operation and Maintenance) for all projects.
6. Develop and implement quality control methodologies to enhance the efficiency of construction processes.
7. Manage the inspection of completed works, ensuring all work meets the required standard and project specifications.
8. Ensure all materials, machinery, and equipment meet the necessary quality standards and regulations.
9. Oversee the management of any incidents or issues, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and effectively.
10. Prepare and present quality reports and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality control management role within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in project management and site work.
4. Experience in the wastewater treatment sector is highly desirable.
5. Extensive knowledge of quality control standards and regulations within the construction industry.
6. Strong understanding of the three phases of control system.
7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Proficient in using quality control software and other relevant computer applications.
10. Certification in quality control or project management is a plus.
