Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year

Based in Albuquerque, NM, we are a Mid-sized EPC which specializes in utility scale Solar, Battery (BESS) & other Renewable Energy projects across the US.

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Electrical Project Engineer (PE) to join our team. This role will be responsible for engineering solutions and providing support for field installation crews working on utility grade solar projects, and ensuring adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC), while assisting the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy sector, particularly in solar, PV, BESS, and switchgear. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing clean, sustainable energy.

Job Details

Location: Albuquerque, NM preferred (100% Remote Work will be considered!)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
  • 4-7 years of project engineering experience, particularly with solar PV, BESS, and switchgear field operations.
  • Project Engineering License preferred, Not Required (we will sponsor a PE license for those who need it).
  • Expertise or at least some project experience with Utility scale renewable energy projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Strong understanding of the field operations, labor requirements, installation processes, technical support, and commissioning aspects of Solar Projects.
  • Ability to handle multiple Electrical, Solar (Utility, Commercial, Industrial) projects simultaneously and help stakeholders meet deadlines.
