Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

Our prestigious law firm is seeking a Trust and Estates Attorney to join our dynamic team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive legal advice and support to our high-net-worth clients in matters of trust and estate planning, wealth transfer, and taxation. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of tax law, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in trust and estate planning. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on trust and estate matters to our high-net-worth clients, ensuring their wealth is protected and transferred according to their wishes.
• Draft, review, and modify a variety of legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Stay abreast of current tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
• Collaborate with financial advisors to develop and implement effective wealth transfer strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive research on complex legal issues related to trust and estate planning.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in trust and estate planning with a strong focus on tax law.
• Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to trusts and estates.
• Excellent knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
