Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Audit Associate or Audit staff associate to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment within the finance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of audit tasks, utilizing their extensive knowledge of GAAP, and performing audits, reviews, compilations, and special projects for all business entity types. This role offers the opportunity to consult with clients and senior staff regarding accounting processes and procedures, providing expert advice and guidance.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute audit strategies and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across different industries.
2. Perform complex audit procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
3. Conduct reviews, compilations, and special projects for various business entity types.
4. Consult with clients and senior staff members on accounting processes and procedures, providing value-added insights and recommendations.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current audit practices and methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
6. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on accounting and audit matters.
7. Utilize advanced software tools, including ProSystems Engagement and Tax, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks, to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Collaborate with team members to achieve audit objectives and deliver high-quality audit services.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. CPA or CPA eligibility is preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm or a similar environment.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
5. Proven experience performing audits, reviews, compilifications, and special projects for various business entity types.
6. Strong consulting skills, with the ability to advise clients and senior staff on accounting processes and procedures.
7. Proficient in using advanced software tools, including ProSystems Engagement and Tax, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks.
8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
10. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
