Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Architectural Construction Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has this type of experience already and wants a hybrid schedule. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, including multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional buildings. This role requires an individual who has a strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and architectural design principles. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented, and innovative professional with a knack for problem-solving, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
  2. Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with design standards and building codes.
  3. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  4. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  6. Ensure that all construction activities adhere to established safety standards and regulations.
  7. Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on architectural construction progress, issues, and solutions.
  8. Conduct post-construction evaluations to assess the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree -- in Architecture, Construction Management, or a closely related field, or extensive time in a Construction Administration role.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural construction administration, with a focus on multi-family residential projects.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  4. Proficient in using architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure.
  7. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement effective solutions.
  9. Professional registration as an Architect or Construction Manager is preferred.
