Are you passionate about architecture and construction? Are you an expert in Procore and Excel? We are currently seeking a dedicated Construction Administrator to join our team in the bustling heart of Manhattan. This is a permanent position in the Engineering industry, where you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be part of a team that is responsible for managing the administration of construction projects from start to finish. This is an opportunity to work on exciting projects and make a significant impact in the field of architecture and construction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting with the coordination and management of all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
  2. Utilizing advanced Excel and Procore skills to track projects, download files, prepare financial reports, and maintain project databases.
  3. Reviewing and processing construction documents, contracts, and change orders.
  4. Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
  5. Attending project meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
  6. Monitoring project progress and addressing potential issues.
  7. Ensuring compliance with construction project standards and regulations.
  8. Assisting in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  9. Providing administrative support to the project team as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction administration or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in Procore, Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.
  3. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and documentation.
  5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  10. Knowledge of industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar is a plus.
