We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Probate Law to join our dynamic legal team. This position is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished professional who is passionate about probate law and has a proven track record in handling guardianships, conservatorships, and elder abuse law. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-tier legal services, handling complex probate matters, and contributing to our firm's overall success. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients on probate matters including guardianships, conservatorships, and elder abuse law.
  2. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to probate law.
  3. Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings related to probate matters.
  4. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients.
  5. Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  6. Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
  7. Provide sound legal advice to clients and strive to secure favorable outcomes.
  8. Stay current on the latest developments in probate law and adapt strategies accordingly.
  9. Contribute to the development of the firm’s probate law practice by participating in business development and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the Arizona state bar and in good standing.
  3. A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience with a focus on probate law.
  4. Proven experience in guardianships, conservatorships, and elder abuse law.
  5. Strong litigation skills with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  9. Excellent client service skills with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality service.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  12. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
