Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorneys to join our collaborative legal teams in Phoenix/Scottsdale and Chandler.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, and alimony. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on complex and highly sensitive cases that significantly impact the lives of our clients. Responsibilities:

  1. Represent clients in court proceedings or in front of government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue for the legal rights of those we serve.
  2. Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, affidavits, appeals, and contracts.
  3. Advise clients on their legal rights in family law matters, ensuring they understand the potential legal implications of various decisions.
  4. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  5. Gather evidence to formulate defense or initiate legal actions, by interviewing clients and witnesses and handling discovery processes.
  6. Negotiate settlements in family law disputes, aiming to resolve cases as amicably and efficiently as possible.
  7. Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  8. Maintain professional competence by participating in continuing education programs, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law is required.
  3. Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona.
  4. Proven background of compassionate and strong advocacy.
  5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  6. Ability to handle high-stress situations and manage sensitive issues tactfully.
  7. Strong research and report writing abilities.
  8. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organization.
  10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
