Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year

We are looking for a driven and skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and process automation, with a deep understanding of electrical engineering. This role is permanent and offers the opportunity to work on exciting, cutting-edge automation projects that significantly impact our manufacturing processes. The Automation Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity in our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement automation systems to enhance manufacturing processes and improve operational efficiency.
2. Conduct system analysis to identify potential areas for automation and propose innovative solutions.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing needs and develop automation strategies accordingly.
4. Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of automation systems to ensure they meet quality standards and operational requirements.
5. Troubleshoot system failures and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
6. Provide technical support and training to manufacturing staff on the use of automation systems.
7. Stay updated with latest technologies, techniques, and industry best practices in industrial automation and incorporate them into our operations.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the design and implementation of automation systems.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2-5 years of experience in industrial automation, process automation, or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of automation systems, electrical engineering principles, and manufacturing processes.
4. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
8. Proficiency in using automation software and tools.
9. PLC programming is highly preferred.
