Job Details

We're looking to add a Senior Audit Manager and an Audit Manager for a hybrid remote role. We have offices in Walnut Creek, CA and Reno, NV so you need to live in either geography. This is a full time, direct hire position, where you can work from home up to 3 days per week.

For Audit Senior:

Assist with engagement planning, conduct accounting research, and supervise staff throughout audit, review, and compilation engagements.

Perform critical reviews of audit, review, and compilation procedures, as well as financial statements, while executing and preparing more complex audit procedures.

Research and explain technical issues clearly to staff, encouraging and motivating them to enhance their technical skills.

Manage workflow between staff and management by identifying priorities and meeting deadlines.

Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients through professionalism, clear communication, and consistent follow-through.

For Audit Manager:

Take full responsibility for client engagements, including thorough engagement reviews, scheduling, staffing, timing, and resolving technical issues as needed.

Ensure successful completion of engagements by proactively identifying and addressing problem areas with minimal oversight.

Manage, supervise, and mentor Staff and Senior accountants, fostering their professional development, providing technical guidance, and maintaining a positive team environment.

Conduct annual performance evaluations for assigned staff and manage ongoing performance.

Collaborate with partners to identify and pursue new client opportunities.
