You will have the opportunity to learn about the intricacies of medical negligence cases, contribute to meaningful legal work, and advocate for clients who have suffered due to medical errors.

  • Assist senior attorneys in handling medical malpractice cases
  • Conduct legal research and analyze medical records
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

  • Attend court hearings and observe trial proceedings
  • Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar Association
  • 1-3 years of legal experience, with some exposure to medical malpractice cases
  • Strong academic record and excellent research and writing skills
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
