Job Details

The Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for:

  1. Managing all aspects of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
  2. Drafting discovery requests and responses, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and legal theories.
  4. Preparing and presenting cases in court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
  5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that best serves their interests.
  6. Providing legal advice to clients and representing them in negotiations and disputes.
  7. Collaborating with our team of lawyers and paralegals to ensure effective case management.
  8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and case law relevant to commercial litigation.

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney position should possess the following:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  4. Proven experience in drafting discovery requests and responses.
  5. Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
  6. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and trial advocacy skills.
  7. Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  10. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
  11. Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office suite.
