Job Details

Position: Plant Manager

As Plant Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive operation of production lines associated with a designated production line, ensuring continuous 24/7 management through effective leadership and streamlined shift operations. Your goal is to optimize production performance within established safety, quality, and cost standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead furnace operations to achieve critical performance objectives, including Safety, Quality, Cost Efficiency, ----Productivity, and Operational Flexibility.
  • Foster a culture of Manufacturing Excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in management and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong collaborative skills with a focus on team engagement and employee involvement.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor staff, and effectively manage personnel-related matters.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly.
  • Competency in information systems and data analysis.
  • Prior experience in the glass manufacturing industry is essential.
  • Education and Experience:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Production/Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in supervising or leading teams and processes in a manufacturing environment is necessary.
  • Previous experience in the glass manufacturing sector is mandatory.
