A bit about us:We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Investor Relations for our rapidly growing energy company. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing and directing all aspects of investor relations and communication between the company, its shareholders, and the financial community. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the energy industry, financial markets, and SEC filings. This role requires 5+ years of relevant experience.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Develop and execute a robust investor relations strategy and framework.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the investment community and shareholders.
- Manage and coordinate all investor relations activities, including earnings releases, investor meetings, and conferences.
- Prepare and review company materials for the investment community, including press releases, investor presentations, and financial reports.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business.
- Work closely with the executive team to ensure alignment between company strategy and investor relations.
- Maintain a strong financial understanding and communication of all aspects of the company's financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, including SEC filings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with analysts, investors, and other members of the financial community.
- Provide feedback to the company's leadership regarding the investment community's perception of how the company is being managed, and their view of its financial results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investor relations, financial communications, or a related role in the energy industry.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of SEC regulations and filings.
- Strong understanding and experience with financial modeling and valuation concepts.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex financial information to a diverse audience.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with investors and analysts.
- High level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with investor relations software and platforms is a plus.
