Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Seymour, IN 47274

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

• Review customer drawings and specifications for feasibility.
• Prepare and manage PPAP documents for new products.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints with corrective actions.
• Conduct trend analysis and develop improvement plans.
• Perform Process Capability studies and improve processes.
• Identify and develop gaging needs, ensuring Gage R&R acceptability.
• Conduct Quality Management Systems Audits for ISO 9001 / IATF16949.
• Train QA associates and implement Customer Specific Requirements.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Requirements:

• 2 year or more of Quality or Engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have / NOT REQUIRED: Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in quality tools (5-Why, 8-D, Fishbone diagram, SPC, R&R).
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
