We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Office Associate to join our fast-paced Finance team. This role requires an individual with a strong background in administrative duties and experience in the nonprofit sector. As a Business Office Associate, you will play a key role in managing and organizing financial and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our business operations. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations such as managing calendars, organizing corporate files, responding to business inquiries, making travel arrangements, and performing other administrative functions as needed.
  • Assist with financial tasks including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external meetings, prepare meeting agendas, track action items, and create and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Support the team in the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Oversee special projects and track progress towards company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within the finance industry.
  • Prior experience in the nonprofit sector is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and business needs.
