Salary: $40 - $50 per hour

Based in the Houston area, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in the Energy industry. The successful candidate will be a part of a vibrant and collaborative environment, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the SAP ABAP platform and ALV reporting, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects and initiatives that will contribute to the overall growth and efficiency of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
• Translate functional specifications into technical specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems.
• Develop and maintain ALV reports, SAP Scripts, SmartForms, and other SAP technical objects.
• Work collaboratively with functional teams to understand and cater to their SAP requirements.
• Perform regular system checks and troubleshoot SAP systems for any issues.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing SAP implementations.
• Ensure that all SAP solutions are compliant with industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in SAP upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring optimal use of the SAP system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on ALV reporting.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions.
• Strong understanding of SAP systems, with an emphasis on SAP ABAP.
• Proficient in SAP Scripts, SmartForms, and ALV reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proven experience in the Energy industry would be a distinct advantage.
