Job Details

As the Head of Operations, you'll manage a variety of key tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes supporting executives by organizing their schedules, handling meetings, and arranging travel. You’ll also plan company events, making sure everything from logistics to budgets is well-managed. In recruitment, you'll coordinate interviews and help new hires get settled. Additionally, you'll maintain important company documents, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage company accounts. You’ll serve as a bridge between the legal team, the company, and investors, overseeing communications and payments. Finally, you'll manage employee payments, reimbursements, and assist with benefits administration, ensuring that all operational aspects run efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations, project management, or a similar role (startup preferred)
  • Local to the greater Chicago area
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in HR, finance, or legal administration is a plus.
  • Proficiency in managing executive calendars, travel arrangements, and event coordination.
  • Familiarity with recruitment processes and database management.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
